Press Release - Air Disruption

Media Release: Monday 19 April 2010

FLEX-ABLE TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS HELP BUSINESSES GET TO AND FROM EUROPE

from Flex-Able Group

With business travellers continuing to face air disruption one of Cambridgeshire’s premier chauffeur service providers is experiencing growing demand for transfers to and from central Europe via Eurotunnel.

St Ives-based Flex-Able Group have been able to get customers to Brussels within six hours, Frankfurt in as little as ten hours and Zurich within 24 hours, all dependant on the Eurotunnel schedule and availability.

Richard Vanbergen, Managing Director of Flex-Able Group, said:

“For some of our customers not travelling just wasn’t an option - it was imperative that they were able to travel to the continent whether it be to fulfil contractual obligations or secure new business. As always we have reacted to our clients’ needs and have already been able to offer 40 customers a guaranteed method of transport that they can be confident will see them make it to their most vital business engagements.

“As well as our own client base, word appears to have spread of our reliability and we are now receiving enquiries from major blue chip companies.”

Flex-Able’s luxury car fleet includes Audi A6 executive saloons and Volkswagen Sharan people carriers, all of which are licensed and insured for travel in EU Europe and fully covered by the RAC.

During a 96 hour period over the weekend Flex-Able facilitated 11 journeys, each carrying up to seven passengers from various companies in order to keep costs to a minimum for all travellers. As the uncertainty over when UK airports will be re-opening continues, and a huge backlog of stranded passengers to repatriate, that figure looks set to increase significantly over the coming days.
