The Flex-Able Group were invited to attend the East of England “London 2012 - 500 Days to go!” launch hosted by the IHG – Crowne Plaza, Cambridge on Tuesday 15th March. All the major sponsors were there – Lloyds TSB, BT, Deloitte and the IHG (International Hotel Group) who spoke passionately about “The Greatest Show on Earth” which is coming to the UK in July 2012. The final speaker was Steve Backley, Olympic Medallist in 1992, 1996 & 2000. He spoke of his Olympic journey and the how passion and determination can be related to corporate life.
The emphasis of the evening was how 2012 will bring prosperity to all areas of industry, the East of England being the closest area to the Olympic Park outside London. There are still £300 million of contracts to be awarded.
