Flex-able are proud sponsors of Leicester Tigers player Scott Hamilton
Wednesday 11 January The Flex-Able Group has signed a sponsorship deal with a professional rugby player from Leicester Tigers. The sponsorship of full back Scott Hamilton is just one element of a wider marketing strategy to expand FlexEwaste, the group’s waste electrical recycling business, into the Leicestershire area. Just a month into the deal the sponsorship is already proving an effective focal point for building a network of contacts across the East Midlands. Richard Vanbergen, Flex-Able Group Managing Director, said: “It has been a real pleasure getting to know Scott and making the most of our new association with the club to build a network of contacts in the area. We are already starting to see the benefits with work already starting to come in, and we are even starting to receive referrals from people who have heard about our waste electrical recycling services through the club.” Scott Hamilton is one of Leicester Tigers’ most consistent players. A regular feature in the first team, he has remained a firm favourite with fans since being named Supporters’ Player of the Year 2009/10.
He has been capped twice for his native New Zealand and scored a match-winning try on his first start for the All Blacks against Argentina in 2006. Flex-Able Group’s sponsorship deal will last for the remainder of the season. Richard continued: “We are really fortunate here at Flex-Able to gain most of our new business through word of mouth, so wanting to expand into the Leicestershire area we knew that our efforts would be most effective steered towards building a new network of contacts in this environment.
